Samsung Bound for Three

Three will be adding two new phones to its range this November, the Samsung Bound and the Samsung Light Edge.

The Samsung Bound is a heavy duty phone that should prove popular with tradesmen, outdoor enthusiasts and generally anyone who gives their mobile phone a hard time.

Made from durable urethane material with IP54 certification, the Samsung Bound is shake, drop, dust and waterproof resistant.

It also comes with some neat features like a built in compass and a pedometer (a step counter for runners and walkers in case you were wondering). It also has a built-in pressure altimeter which allows you to determine your current elevation - ideal for hill walkers, hikers and mountain climbers as well as skiers.

The Bound also comes with a torchlight and a 2 Megapixel camera.

The Samsung Bound is due for release this November on Three on a Free video pack tariff.

The other new phone due to be unveiled by Three is another Samsung - the Samsung Light Touch.

Described as Samsung Soul's "sexy baby sister", the Light Edge is a sleek slider phone that will be exclusively and only available in pink from 3.

It's a 3 Megapixel camera phone with auto focus, LED Flash, face detection and smile detect auto-shot.

Again, the Samsung Light Touch is due for release this November on Three on a Free video pack tariff.
